How To Style: Work Outfits.

We all know that it can be quite difficult to look stylish when buying and wearing boring workwear, but how do some women make it look so easy?  Yes, we all want to be comfortable when sitting in an office for 8 hours a day but now it’s time to be simultaneosly comfortable yet trendy.  With Ireland still in lockdown, it seems like leaving the house for work will be the only social interaction we have for a while.  So now is your chance, here is our guide on how to style work outfits!

It is without a doubt that a pencil skirt dresses up every office outfit.  This Veronica’s Closet skirt is no exception. A pencil skirt with front slits allows for a lot more room and movement, whether you be sitting in an office chair or moving around.  The check detail and contrasting colours provide a unique look to this otherwise familiar aesthetic.  After all, anybody can have a plain black pencil skirt.

On top of this, this gorgeous white shirt with embroderie detail is another wardrobe staple. This work outfit is anything from boring, yet the darker colours allow even the shyest of us to be comfortable.

As you can see on the right, this is another variation of how you can wear this unique skirt.  This outfit is bolder and for the braver dressers out there. Clashing patterns are definitely an Autumn must-have and these two different sizes of check create a uniquely beautiful workwear look.  This outfit would also fall under the category of a look that you can dress up in the evening after work!  These two pieces are definitely wardrobe must-haves!

The Boss-Babe Outfit.

This third outfit is a perfect example of ‘business-woman sheek’.   Although we are moving into the colder months, we still have a few weeks of sunshine left so why not embrace it while we can?  This Culotte Co-Ord is gorgeous and will make any woman look like a boss-babe.  In the summer you can wear this with a small knit cami, whereas in winter we can warm it up with a polo underneath!  This is another prime example of a work outfit that can be dressed-up in the evening.  Just simply add a pair of heels and a clutch bag!

Finally, we have this gorgeous maxi skirt matched with the perfect black knit.  Now this outfit is a great example of comfortable but stylish.  Personally, I would wear this outfit on the more casual work days.  Just pair it with a pair of white trainers or black boots.  This gorgeous multi-patterned maxi skirt can also be paired with a bold coloured knit jumper to brighten up your work days.

So that’s it ladies! Our guide to stylish work outfits.  Hopefully this blogpost will show you how a few stand out pieces can really change our wardrobe and be styled in beautiful ways.  Happy shopping! xx
